Volkswagen Polo Safety Features – Volkswagen Polo’s Comfort, quality and safety have all taken a considerable leap forward. Polo was specifically designed to attain the recently established, stricter and more comprehensive, 5-star Euro NCAP rating. The higher structural rigidity of the Polo’s body shell contributes to these results. Volkswagen Polo is loaded with a wealth of advanced safety equipments, which makes every journey as safe as possible. A comprehensive airbag system for occupant protection, along with an ultra high-strength steel frame, makes for an indigenously structured passenger cell. Volkswagen Polo Specifications – Volkswagen Polo is available in both diesel and petrol variants in India. The diesel variant is comes with the 1.2 liter engine which has a capacity to generate of 75HP @ 4200 rpm and torque of 180 NM @ 2000 rpm. Whereas the petrol variant is equipped with a 1.2 liter engine which produces an output of 74 bhp @ 5400 rpm and a Torque of 110NM @ 3750 rpm. The diesel variant is also equipped with the 1.2 liter engine with an output of 75HP @ 4200 rpm and torque of 180 NM @ 2000 rpm. It ensures you security with its safety features like front fog lamps for safety in bad weather, 3 point inertia front seat belts, third tail lamp, Anti-lock Braking System, Front air bags for driver and passenger and ultra-high strength steel frame.
